Veronicastrum virginicum

Veronicastrum virginicum (Culver’s Root) is a large plant reaching a height of 6 feet with a spread of 4 feet. It holds long spikes of light blue or lavendar blooms high above other plants in the garden. The blooms are attractive to pollinators. This plant sows seed freely so to keep it in check remove dead blossoms.
