Ligularia siberica

This is the most hardy of the ligularias for interior Alaska. It has larger flowers than the other varieties. It tends to sow seed and needs to be policed a bit. It has beautiful glossy dark green leaves and racemes of bright yellow flowers that grow to 60 inches in height.
