Thalictrum dasycarpum

Thalictrum dasycarpum (Tall Meadow Rue) can grow as tall as 8 feet. It normally grows to 6 feet in height with a spread of 18inches. It is very good at holding itself upright and does not need staking. It is very dramatic with dark purple stems and sprays of small white flowers. An excellent plant for the back of a border or an accent in any garden bed. It adds beautiful fall color as the leaves turn gold.
